Immerse yourself in the rugged beauty of the **High Atlas Mountains** on this full-day excursion to Imlil. Located at the foot of Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa (4,167m), Imlil is a paradise for nature lovers and hikers.
You will travel through the scenic Asni and Tahnaout valleys, visiting local weekly markets (on specific days). Once in Imlil, a local guide will lead you on a gentle trek through walnut groves and Berber villages. The highlight of the day is a traditional lunch served in a Berber family home, offering authentic hospitality and stunning mountain views.
Itinerary
Departure
Pick-up from your accommodation in Marrakech. Drive south towards the Atlas Mountains.
Asni & Tahnaout
Stop for photos of the oldest Berber village in the area. Visit a women's Argan oil cooperative.
Arrival in Imlil
Meet your local mountain guide. Begin the trek towards Aremd village (mules available).
Berber Lunch
Enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal (Tagine, Couscous, Salad) on a terrace with views of Toubkal (Lunch included).
Return Hike
Gentle walk back down to the village center to meet your driver.
Return to Marrakech
