Overview
Experience the timeless tradition of traversing the desert on the "ships of the dunes." This Camel Ride Experience in the Agafay Stone Desert offers a peaceful and authentic connection with nature, just 45 minutes from the hustle of Marrakech.
Upon arrival, you will be invited to dress in traditional Nomad attire (a blue Gandora and a headscarf/Cheich) to protect you from the sun and immerse you in the culture. Ride gentle camels across the rocky dunes, enjoying panoramic views of the High Atlas Mountains. The experience concludes with a refreshing mint tea break in a traditional tent.
Itinerary
Departure
Driver picks you up from your hotel. Drive south to the Agafay Desert.
Nomad Dressing
Arrive at the camel base. Staff help you dress in traditional Touareg clothing for the ride.
Camel Trek
Enjoy a 1-hour ride through the rocky landscape. Great photo opportunities with the mountains in the background.
Tea Ceremony
Relax under a tent with Moroccan mint tea and hospitality before heading back.
Return Transfer
Drive back to Marrakech and drop-off at your accommodation.
